Jonathan Cory Revolutionary Patriot of Westfield , Essex County , New Jersey . Born 22 January 1732 in Westfield . Jonathan was brought to life by stories told by his grand-daughter Abby. Jonathan served the cause by providing wood, feed, carts, and horses to Washington 's Army in New Jersey . He died 20 Jun 1793. His son, Benjamin, married Susan Denman. Susan's Father served in the Essex County Militia. Her Grandfather, Isaac Hendricks, provided supplies to the Army. All 3 are buried at Westfield Presbyterian Cemetery with stones.
